I was super particular in what I wanted for an engagement ring (you too?). Something unique that not everyone had. Didn't have to be a diamond. I scoured the internet and local antique shops for such ring but to no avail. Ultimately and luckily, I ended up inheriting my mom's that she had lost for 20 years and found a month before Paul and I got engaged, and by that time had replaced.
