I succumbed.
You may already know that I've been loving anything lip related at the moment, and I don't think it just me, the whole world seems to have gone lip product mad.
From lip scrubs, lip balms, lipstick, lipgloss, lip paints to the newest lip craze, lip butters, I can't seem to get enough of any of them...it's bordering on obsessive behaviour when I spend ages in Boots deciding what I'm going to try next!
When I saw all the reviews on the Revlon Lip Butters, I had plenty of time to decide what colours I wanted to get my hands on and then I waited patiently for their UK release.
Boots have had a 3 for 2 on for ages and so of course I picked up a couple of the lip butters on this offer.. I also got some of the L'Oreal Rouge Caresse too, but that's another post!
The 2 colours that I settled on to try out were 015 Tutti Frutti and 090 Sweet Tart. Tutti Frutti was a no brainer, glossy orange lip colour? Yes please! And Sweet Tart is a lovely light pink shade, which is completely wearable for the daytime.
The formula gives a sheer to medium color pay off and is glossy and moisturising. which makes these a great treat for the lips and will help keep then in fantastic condition whilst giving a pop of color too. They glide onto the lip so smoothly they are slightly sticky but I actually quite like the consistency, just heavy enough so you know you have it on. They staying power is not great, if you eat or drink your going to have to re-apply but this product doesn't claim to be long lasting. I don't think they'll replace my color intense lipsticks for the evening but they'll definitely become a daytime staple. Thank you Revlon.
