I LOVE  Tom Hanks so when I was offered the chance to review his latest film, I was delighted.

Although received a few weeks ago,I only had the chance to watch it last night.
Adapted from the bestseller by Jonathan Safran Foer, “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” is a story of eleven year old Oskar Schell (Thomas Horn) and his  father (Tom Hanks) who died ay 9/11 in New York. Oskar finds a hidden key in his father's wardrobe a year later. He believes if he can only find the lock that the key fits, they will still be in touch. Feeling disconnected from his grieving mother (Sandra Bullock) and driven by an active mind that refuses to believe in things that can't be observed, Oskar begins searching New York City .While searching, he learns that other people do care about him.

We enjoyed watching the film. I also like the soundtracks composed by Alexander Desplat.
If you are interested, you can watch the official trailer below. The film  is available as DVD and Blue Ray.
