REVIEW: Urban Decay Naked 3

By Lauraoatenx @lollylovesx

Like the rest of the beauty blogging world I caved and brought this beautiful Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. Did I really need this palette in my life? No I didn't. Did I want it? Yes I did.
First of all lets talk about the beautiful packaging. I love it, its so sleek and fancy and it comes in an amazing rose gold colour! Who doesn't love a bit of rose gold. The packaging feels very sturdy so I can imagine this would be great for traveling. Within the box you also received 4 sachets of the urban decay primer potions. I haven't tried these yet as I have a feeling once I open one they will dry out pretty fast.

As you can see by the picture above the Naked 3 has gone down the pinky/rose gold route, which I adore. As this is the first full size naked palette I owned I can't comment on if its like number 1 or 2.
Here are the colours you get -
Strange - Matte Very light pink, near enough beige. Well pigmented and applies nicely.
Dust - Metallic light pink. Fantastic color but do apply before the rest of your makeup as it can fall down a little.
Burnout - Satin peachy pink. One of my favorite shades, it has amazing color pay on and looks great on the eye.
Limit - Matte pale rose shade - I use this to even out the skin tone on my eye lid, it also adds a gentle wash of color.
Buzz - Metallic light rose gold, This shade has an amazing color pay off!  A little does go a long way with this shade. Really easy to apply too.
Trick - Metallic warm pinky peach, same formulation as buzz.
Nooner - Matte medium pinky brown, because i'm very pale I like to use this in my crease. Applies and blends nicely.
Liar - Metallic cool toned rose gold, this is the same as Burnout just more pigmented.
Factory - Shimmer light mauve. Very nice shade and applies nicely would be a great evening shade.
Mugshot - Metallic taupe, lovely colour! Applies nicely.
Darkside - Matte deep taupe, you need a primer before using this one as it can be a bit difficult to work with.
Blackheart - Glitter almost black with reddish particles. This one is quite dry so again I would recommend a primer before using it.
Overall I love this palette and I use it pretty much everyday. I now own number 2 but haven't yet use it and next on my list is naked 1. I never thought I would own the naked palettes because I always thought they were overpriced. Now I disagree - I'm in love. Will there be a naked 4?
