As mentioned in my previous post, Dot and Key is a skincare brand that manufactures products made from natural ingredients that are totally cruelty free and vegetarian friendly. With no harmful chemicals, the products are gentle on the skin and are highly effective for they are filled with the goodness of natural botanicals.
Known for their range of skincare products for areas that are generally overlooked, Dot and Key advocates holistic nourishment for the skin. The underarm color correction serum is one such product that corrects underarm pigmentation. The skin of the underarms usually become darker due to a wide range of internal and external factors like poor ventilation, excessive sweating and the accumulation of dead skin cells.
The correction serum from Dot and Key is formulated using the goodness of Uva ursi (bearberry) leaf and Paeonia suffruticosa (peony) root. These ingredients correct the uneven skin tone of dark underarms by reducing the production of melanin without any side-effects. The serum is designed for the delicate skin of the underarms and works towards reducing the pigmentation and roughness. Regular use of the product results in a much even skin tone and results in the skin becoming smoother and softer.
What I loved about the product
The product is dermatologically tested and is completely free of parabens & sulphates. While the fragrance is a bit strong with undertones of patchouli and mint, the serum is easily absorbed into the skin leaving it soft and hydrated. Once applied the fragrance mellows down considerably. The texture of the serum is smooth and non greasy.
