Ciao dears!,
I’m writing this while sipping hot chocolate and staring out the window at the foot or so of snow that’s piled up out there over night. It’s so pretty and picturesque. No work for me today because school are all closed around here. I’ve missed blogging and talking to all of you (if anyone’s still there…). I know I said in December that I’d find more time to blog, but life always seems to get in the way of that. I needed time to spend with my family and boyfriend and such. I am really trying again though. I still take tons of outfit pictures and have so many I want to share with you guys, as well as yummy recipes, and other fun stuff. I hope some of you still come back for more. Maybe I need to make like a blogging schedule. I schedule or use my to-do list for everything else, why not blogging too? I’ll update you all on my life and what I’ve been up to in future posts, promise.
Today’s topic is a fun little review of 3 Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polishes that I received from Influenster in their latest Voxbox. The shades I tried were: Pat on the Black (a dark purple hued blackish color), Jaded (a light green-ish turquoise), and Red my Lips (a bright true red). All three are great colors. I’ve included pictures of them on my nails below. These polishes claim to be a complete salon manicure (hence the name) in one bottle. The 7 benefits Sally Hansen states these have are that they act as a/are: base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, top coat, chip resistant, and have a gel shine finish. Based on my experience, all of these seem to be true. I love the brush; it’s easy to apply the polish. The colors are also very opaque on the 2 darker colors. The lighter one (Jaded) did need at least 2 coats to be opaque enough, though that’s not an issue for me. The polish seems to last about a week or so. The polishes also aren’t streaky at all. Oh, and the hashtag: #CSMTKO in the title (I don’t generally use those ever, but the brand asked and I figured it wouldn’t hurt) stands for Complete Salon Manicure Total Knock Out.
As you can see below, the first polishes I tried were Pat on the Black (as a base color) and Red my Lips (to make hearts on my ring fingers). The hearts were a bit rushed, but I tried and still think they looked cute.
Next I tried the Jaded polish. It’s more of a spring color, but it’s still fun to add a pop of brightness to you fingers on a cold January day.

P.S. As I explained in the beginning of the post, I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Of course, the opinions on my blog are always my own and uninfluenced by outside sources/companies.
