In a Sentence: Love and Leftovers is a sweet contemporary novel told in verse.Review: Love and Leftovers is only the second novel written in verse that I've read, and I'm so glad that I did. I loved the verse writing and Marcie's narration. The poetry flows easily and the book is very fast paced. Love and Leftovers is difficult to put down. I stayed up late reading this book. I'd think "okay I'll read one more page" but one page ended up turning into two hundred, LOL.

I liked the characters. Each one was unique and memorable in their own way, especially Marcie.
Be sure to pick this one up when it releases. Even if you're not a fan of books told in verse, I'd still recommend Love and Leftovers if you enjoy contemporary YA.
