I’d like to see the team return to a more technically-based presentation, but I get the feeling that this is more a matter of the editors and Pilgrim Films’ production demands than the investigative technique. We know Pilgrim and Syfy found Robb’s leadership to be against their preferences, so is it really a shock that this version of the team is depicted as more intuitive than scientific? It’s the inevitable result of aligning the entire franchise towards maximum popular acceptance.
