I received Retseliney vegetable spiralizer to review recently and this little device has been put to test in my kitchen. I find this as an interesting kitchen tool - a vegetable spiralizer that looks like an hourglass with blades on the inside and feels like a pencil sharpener. All I had to do was place the vegetable into one of the ends and twist the vegetable like sharpening a pencil. There are two sets of built-in blades. On one side the blades are closer together for thiner noodles and the other side for thicker noodles. I think this is a great option to have.
It worked great until I hit the last 1 inch of the vegetable. Wish there was a way to push this last piece inside the blade. The blades are very sharp, and I love the fact that it is inside and I can't feel them from outside the gadget. It comes with a cleaning brush and a mini recipe book. The cleaning brush is perfect to get inside the nooks and corners of the spiralizer to get it thoroughly cleaned. As an add on, a jar opener is included to help you open jars.
Overall, I'm quite impressed with this tool for its price. This tiny yet powerful gadget can help you prepare low-carb recipes made with vegetable pasta's and shredded salads. You will be amazed how quickly you can prepare a healthy meal. Well, you could also make hash browns in no time! Here are some pictures for you.
