So it’s been rumors floating around that Drake was a part of Tidal, but decided to leave at the last minute. I’m not sure how true that is, but once I know I’ll tell y’all. After allegedly dropping out of Tidal, Drake has struck up a deal with Apple. According to the New York Post, Drake is in talks to sign a $19 million deal to be a guest DJ for iTunes Radio, among other things.
Pharrell Williams and David Guetta are reportedly also in talks to serve as guest DJs for the revamped iTunes Radio. Apple is expected to announce the new service during its Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8 in San Francisco.
