Remix Roundup // Vol.5

Posted on the 09 September 2012 by Rover @xneerajx

Here we are (though a little late, sorry) with our latest round-up of monthly super remixes, we got some lovely Bon Iver, some partying Katy Perry and much more, so leave what you're doing, take your best headphones out and start listening.

  • Calvin Harris - Feel So Close (Butch Clancy Remix)

Beautiful song transformed into a dubstep masterpiece.

  • Passion Pit – Constant Conversations (St. Lucia Remix)

You needed a track that conjures up images of ice-cream vans, flip flops and lazy summer evenings, well here’s it.

  • Youth Lagoon – Daydream (Noah Hyde Remix)

Hyde gives the track a full dance reworking, fleshing out the original with euphoric synths and beats keeping Powers’ hazy vocals as perfect as ever.

  • Bon Iver - Beth / Rest (Work Drugs Remix)

In one of the strangest combinations so far this year, Work Drugs entered Spotify’s Bon Iver remix competition with their take on “Beth/Rest” , and the result is a super smooth-make you feel good track.
You can listen to it a zillion times without getting bored.

  • VISITOR - Coming Home (Viceroy Remix)

Viceroy takes out the newcomers Visitor’s exploding song “Coming Home” and turns it into something else, something more loving.

  • Madeon Vs. Katy Perry - Wide Awake For The Finale (TeeTs Mashup)

TeeT is a sort of weird name, but when you do mash-ups like this one, who the hell cares about your name or anything.
All compiled with help of Au Remixe.
