Gaucho Richmond Upon Thames
One
Order a bottle of the elegant Vina Patricia Malbec wine. This first vintage celebrates Gaucho’s ten years of wine making. Vina Patricia is produced by Gaucho’s own vineyard, Finca La Franca, in Mendoza. Gaucho purchased the vineyard ten years ago in 2007, and the first release was in 2008. This wine is truly excellent and superb with the Anchor rib-eye.
Two
Learn about the different steaks on offer as they arrive displayed uncooked at your table as you peruse the menu. You can also get an idea of which size to order. You will be looked after by a waiter who will explain everything.

Three
Choose a starter of Scallops Succotash. These are served with roasted fresh corn, nduja, smoked paprika and fresh lime. There are plenty of other starters to choose. Have a look at the main a la carte menu here.
SCALLOPS SUCCOTASH Roasted fresh corn, nduja, smoked paprika, fresh lime
Four
Order a steak with a few sides for your main course. We went for the fillet and ribeye. These were accompanied with mashed potatoes, spinach and lemon, broccoli with toasted almonds and thin chips. Desserts were also superb. Gaucho suggest a wine pairing for each dessert. The pairing of El Porvenir de Cafayate ‘Laborum’ 2014
Late harvest Torronté with the Argentine rice pudding was perfect.
LOMO FILLET Lean and tender with a delicate flavour
ANCHO RIB-EYE Delicately marbled throughout for superb, full-bodied flavour
DULCE DE LECHE CHEESECAKE Hot salted dulce de leche and toasted marshmallow
Five
Enjoy the view of the River Thames whilst being impeccably served in Gaucho’s outdoor seating area. This is a perfect location for a summers evening whether you are entertaining clients or having a romantic dinner for two.
