About the game:
When Mordecai and Rigby get transported into some mysterious video games, they’ll have to use their best skills and unique abilities to traverse the various challenges to escape and get back home in this brand-new “eggscellent” journey. This hi-jinx-filled adventure is packed with action platforming, side-scroller space shooting, old-school top-down video game mania, and comes fully loaded with fan-favorite characters and humor from the show. The original storyline and concept was written by series creator, JG Quintel.
My boys have been having a lot of fun with this game. They compared it to a Mario Brothers type of game (which they love). You get to be Mordecai or Rigby, depending on where you’re at in the game. My son, Caleb, especially loves to be Mordecai because he has what he called “kung-fu powers”! (I think they call it “Death Kwon Do” in the game.) They’re almost 10, and they said the game is not too hard and not too easy -- just right for their age and abilities. They love to collect cash (for extra lives), fanny packs, VHS tapes, money bags, and player heads. Power-ups include a Mullet, a Space Power Capsule, and more.
