Anyways, without further review, here’s the return of RRM.

“Organization ASG’s Looking For Writers“
And of course I start things off with a shameless plug! Yep, we’re in the market for writers, in case you missed it earlier today. I’m only using this space to point out that I don’t necessarily have a cap for most of the positions. If I think we’re good for certain aspects, then that’ll be all. I guess I can say that I won’t be having 7 writers for the anime feature position, that is for sure! But if we get some really good writers, or those that have potential, hard to really turn that down.
Anyways, if you’d like to write for this blog, just go click the link and go from there. Now, onto actual tidings from the internet…
“My Confession as an Anime Fan“
Let’s just say Jess has one of the most superficial confessions as an anime fan, ever. That’s not a shocking confession! I think everyone values look whenever they want to check an anime out — god knows how many did it for Flowers of Evil — so I don’t see it as a confession, honestly. But I guess that’s her reason, and why she immediately regretted watching Nisekoi. (I can only laugh.)
But that made me think: what exactly would I confess as an anime fan? Not much now that I think about it, except probably only one thing:
I don’t actually mind fanservice in an anime.
There’s definitely been an increase of complaints about that in recent years. To be fair, it’s been justified. The problem is that it ultimately is the be all end all. My only end all is whether or not the anime is actually entertaining. Most shows where bewbs and boys who have girls fall for them like it’s hot manage to be sleep inducing. “But it’s fantasy” is something that’s been used, and more often than not, I can buy that. But let me know of a fanservice anime where it’s actually entertaining, and we can actually talk. For now though, I don’t have an issue with anime that feature fanservice.
I guess that makes me too simple.
