Redmi Note 9 5G Variant Spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 800U

Redmi Note 9 5G variant with model number M2007J22C spotted on Geekbench. Earlier the same device spotted on IMDA certification that confirms the 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. A reliable tipster Mukul Sharma aka stufflistings shared the Geekbench listings along with the source code exclusively to the MySmartPrice.

As per the Geekbench listing of the Redmi Note 9 5G variant, the smartphone will feature a Mediatek octa-core Arm MT6853T chipset that is speculated to be MediaTek Dimensity 800U and also the source code suggested the presence of Arm Mali G57 GPU. The Dimensity 800U is designed to provide 5G connectivity as well as performance to gamers at an affordable price.


The smartphone is able to score 598 in single performance and 1793 in multi-core performance on Geekbench 5. The Geekbench listing also suggested that the smartphone will come running on Android 10 and will be accompanied by 8GB RAM. The Redmi Note 9 5G is also tipped to come with around 5000mah battery and may support 22.5W fast charging. Earlier Redmi Note 9 4G variant complete specifications have been tipped ahead of launch. However, a few days left till the official launch of the Redmi Note 9 series globally.


Moreover, the Redmi Note 9 series is listed on a Chinese e-commerce website named JingDong aka JD. Although no specifications have been listed till now on the website and the JD listing has been shared by a well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter.
