For over a year now, I've been trying to get my kitchen decor focused on the retro/vintage red, blue & white. I've always had a thing for that retro 50's look.
But I moved into a house with a kitchen that's hard to work with. Dark espresso cabinets, black counters. I mean... not exactly coordinating with my dream kitchen.
One day those cabinets might be white (hubby's already rolled his eyes at that one)... but for now lets focus on the changes I can do.
After some new banquette seating was built (pictures coming soon) and a painted table (also coming soon!), I purchased some vintage oak chairs for a steal and used my favorite color to make them perfect for my kitchen!

Aren't they beautiful? Well. They are to me.
Here's the color we used. Apple Red.
I am completely in love with the red and they look even better than I'd hoped.
