Do you remember seeing these amazing burgundy knee-high boots on my Instagram a while back?! Well, let me introduce you to Rebel with Cause! The design duo is based here in Fort Worth and specializes in affordable luxury boots, handbags, and accessories. Who doesn't want that?! I met the founders, Ivet and Serene, at a charity event and love the back story behind the birth of the brand. On a trip to Bulgaria, Ivet realized that she wanted to bring the European mentality of affordable quality back to Texas. No one there thinks of fast-fashion for shoes! And what is even more amazing is the lineage that is associated with the brand. Her grandmother worked as a shoemaker, and Rebel with Cause is utilizing the same methods for their boots.
I love discovering local businesses, meeting the people behind the brand, and learning their story. It makes me love the brand and piece that much more.
Ivet and Serene were so nice to gift these beautiful boots to me! These knee high boots are lined with the same type of material that they use for horse jockeys boots to help them last longer. How cool is that? I love the luxe bordeaux suede color, and the block heel makes it comfy for walking around town.
"I've always been a rebel with a cause, someone who goes against the grain and against the status quo and challenges it for a purpose!" - (RWC Founder) Ivet Taneva
Obviously, it's easy to wear these boots with skinny jeans, a white tee, and leather jacket as seen on me. I also wore these boots with a black off the shoulder dress (last seen here worn as a top) and the same burgundy velvet choker!
I've been eyeing these blush pink booties, grey fringe booties, these cut-out booties, this black double handle bag, and think this round crossbody bag is SO CUTE! LOL! Y'all know how I am about shoes! #obsessedmuch
If you are DFW local, you'll be able to see, touch, and feel their products during "Shop Small Fort Worth" on the weekend of March 25th at The Foundry Warehouse. 2628 Weisenberger Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
Have you heard of Rebel with Cause?! And who are your local favorites?
