Real Estate played to an energetic crowd of loyal fans and “friends and family” at Terminal 5 on Friday as a part of their tour to promote their newest album Atlas. Hailing from Ridgewood, New Jersey this homecoming was one of the largest crowds they’ve ever headlined. They played an eclectic mix of mostly new but some old songs, and the crowd responded well by singing along. Real Estate’s Alex Bleeker spoke to the crowd and took questions mid way through the set, commenting on the good crowd-band symbiotic relationship. Overall, it was a great show that has certainly made me a big fan. The band is headed out to play Austin’s City Limits Festival next weekend, and will end out 2014 by touring in the United Kingdom and South America.
