Readers’ Workouts — January 1

Happy New Year! The New Year is a great time to get reinvigorated with fitness goals and accountability schemes like posting to Readers’ Workouts each Tuesday.

Now that I completed 30 days of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred in the last two months, I am more than ready for something new.

I’m going for the 10 day free trial of GaiamTV — a streaming service for fitness videos and documentaries about healthy people and a healthy world. Erika wrote about it on A Black Girl’s Guide to Weight Loss: GaiamTV’s New Online Fitness Hub: Do We Love It? and included a link for 10 free days. Actually, it looks like there’s a 10 day free trial directly from the site, but I want to give Erika credit for directing me there so I’ll use her link. After that, it’s $10 a month. That’s a lot compared to using the videos I already own. Not so much compared to buying new videos every month because I’m bored with all the ones I already own. So, I haven’t made a decision about that, but I’m definitely in for 10 free days to start the new year off right.
