Christmas is coming ever closer and with it an early present of sorts for fans of the Southern Vampire Mysteries! Charlaine Harris’ Deadlocked won’t be published until May. However, an excerpt from chapter 2 is now available for reading on her website!

Deadlocked is the second to last novel starring Harris’ heroine Sookie Stackhouse. The series which became the basis for the HBO series True Blood is slated to end in 2013.
