Though he’s been in the game for quite some time, Raw Poetic is finally working on his debut solo album, titled Charlie Browns Parents. Some may know the MC from his previous work with hop hop duo Panacea, as well as several other projects he’s kept so busy with throughout the years. His creativity seems to be endless as every track he’s on tells a new story or regards an in-depth concept, delivered with intellect. His mission is to restore the poetry in hip hop. This first-released track from the new album is nearly an acoustic track – with just guitar and bass along with some effects and loops. It is rare to hear hip hop without an actual beat, but Raw Poetic makes it work with the interesting instrumental and his quite impressive flow.
