Hey guys……
Today is going to be the most random post in the history of blog posts. Can you handle it? If not… we can talk again tomorrow. No worries, I won’t mind.
I’ve been super-duper busy for the last two days doing all the branding for the Tri-Tip restaurant! Do you want a glimpse of the magic?
I’m working on the blog right now. I’m hoping that we can generate some local buzz about our new restaurant by blogging about all our escapades while we open up our shop. If you have a minute click over and check it out. You can start following our tweets on twitter and like us on Facebook.
I really wanted to show all of you my really yummy dinner last night! Leftover steak, roasted asparagus, and brown rice with bbq sauce. Yum. Total. Yum.
By the way, I was crazy-hungry last night. I ate dinner, then second dinner, a coconut larabar, a bowl of cinnamon chex… It was crazy-ness and I think I ate the entire kitchen! Sorry Mom.
I may or may not be one of those people who puts off unpacking for 8 weeks after going somewhere. Maybe I really like living out of my suitcase… it’s like vacation for-ever!
It’s the first day of Half Marathon Training Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
before I could go on my run
On the training schedule…
I haven’t ran in exactly 1,000 days, which would of course equal not last Wednesday but then Wednesday before that. So I was really nervous because I knew it would be way harder than usual. Which it totally was!
Holy dehydration after my run. I drank 2 of these San Diego Zoo Big Gulp Size cups of water right after walking in the door.
Like how my face gets super duper red after running… yea! Me too.
The run was crazy hard. I set out to do 3 miles then run with Dorothy but my 3 miles quickly turned into 1.5 and then I ran 1.5 with D. Not exactly what I wanted but I’m happy I did the full 3 miles.
