Rainbow Jelly decides to bring some new flavours to the Bengali language film repertoire. Directed by Soukarya Ghosal, the film's cast includes Mahabrata Basu, Sreelekha Mitra, Kaushik Sen, Shantilal Mukherjee in pivotal roles.
Rainbow Jelly is a first in the food fantasy genre and exhibits the tale of a unique autistic orphan child who has the power to control a person's mind. He does this by manipulating the tastes of different food. This allows the orphan to ensure that the villain reacts in a myriad of ways to the taste of salty, sweet, pungent and sour, among other tastes.
