Ingredients

  • 1-2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp dry ginger powder [optional]
  • 1-2 tbsp ghee
  • Jaggery powder [for kids above 1 year]/ dry dates powder [for babies above 8 months]
  • Water/milk [for kids above 1 year old]

Method

  • Take a pan and add a tablespoon of ghee and heat it.
  • To this add the whole wheat flour and roast well till flour becomes light golden brown and exudes strong and nice aroma.
  • Now add water to the flour and mix well without lumps.
  • After 2-4 minutes add the jaggery powder and mix well.
  • Now, add the dry ginger powder and cook till it’s semi solid consistency.
  • For toddlers & adults: finally, add milk, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Transfer it to a bowl and serve.
