The Quickie Q2 is a two-seater version of the Rutan Quickie homebuilt, this Q200 version sports a larger engine and different airfoil for the canard. Among the many design features of this aircraft, the absence of separate landing gear reduces both weight and drag. However, propeller ground clearance is limited and the Quickie is vulnerable to prop-strikes. Kit production commenced in 1980, with over 2000 kits sold before production ended.
