Yesterday we published a blog post about Pinky Brand’s prediction for how many domain names will be in existence by the end of 2016
Pinky’s prediction was 408.5 Million domain names in the zone files by the end of 2016 including 73.6 million from new gTLD’s
Current there are 252 million domain names in existence including all the TLD’s and ccTLD’s but obviously the new gTLD’s are yet to launch.
So the question we have for today is how many domain names will be in existence by the end of 2016?
