This Quick 15 minute pizza dough has no yeast, so it is a great pizza recipe freshly made for your family within 15 minutes from start to finish.
Sometimes my kids often ask for pizza about 5pm, that's when you start doing mental maths, make and knead dough 10 minutes, 1 hour rise time, shape and roll out pizza 5 minutes, second proving time 30 minutes top and bake another 10 minutes in total time is about 2 hours.
Do you have 15 minutes spare, I do specially to make dinner for the family and especially when it's pizza. Considering that I can't even get a takeaway in that amount of time. This pizza recipes fool-proof, as no yeast is needed, mix five ingredients, roll, top it and bake it! Sorry lastly EAT IT!
I must confess I use my Kenwood Mixer for these jobs, add the ingredients into the mixing bowl, use the dough hook and pizza dough is made in 2 minutes probably less. Give those arms a bit of a break
I love making home cooked meals for my family, as you know exactly what goes into it. This is one of those recipes that you tend to have all the ingredients in your cupboard, so when it comes to those mad evenings where you have only a quarter of an hour to get dinner ready, this is a sure winner!
Ingredients
225g Plain Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
25g Butter
100ml Milk
Add flour, baking powder, salt and butter to a mixing bowl and mix until the butter is all mixed in.
Make a well in the flour and pour in the milk.
Mix until dough is formed should take about 2 minutes, if the dough is too dry then add a tiny bit of water.
Place the dough onto a floured surface and start split into two.
Roll out the dough
Cover with tomato based sauce ( I used tomato passata and italian herbs)
Add the toppings of your choice
Bake in the oven at 220c for 10 minutes until the pizza dough is crisp.
Slice and serve!
