These photographs were taken at Venice Beach, Florida.

Besides a glorious beach with a lot of shark teeth to be found,

there’s a delicious restaurant called Sharky’s on the Pier

and a fishing pier for anyone who is inclined to relax after dinner with a fishing rod.

Fishing a large pastime in Florida.

Go anywhere there’s water with a pier

and you’ll see amateur or experienced fisherman

on a quest to catch the BIG one.

The BIG one always gets away.
