An essential part of any trip to Oshkosh AirVenture is a visit to the Seaplane Base where one can see a wide variety of amphibious aircraft. Here is a Kodiak 100, introduced in 2008 and still in production. At the time of this photo, the Wipaire floats had only been certified for Kodiaks the month prior. Kodiaks are used worldwide for cargo, skydiving and business transport. Nikon D300 w/18-200mm.
