Ava DuVernay and the cast of Queen Sugar were all on hand for the Queen Sugar Season 3 premiere garden party in N.Y.C on Sunday.
Held at the Laduree SOHO, #MeToo founder, Tarana Burke, comedian and actress, Tiffany Haddish, Katie Holmes, and singer Maxwell were all spotted at the event as well.

The party also included a musical performance by ten-time Grammy nominee Meshell Ndegeocello, who performed, Don’t Go Chasing Waterfalls.
In its third season, the contemporary drama returns as the Bordelons find themselves continuing their fight to save their family farm and father’s legacy as they navigate their own personal journeys. They soon find that their fight extends beyond their close-knit family, but also to the community.
Check out the two night season 3 premiere on the OWN network, when it airs Tuesday, May 29, and Wednesday, May 30 (10 p.m. ET/PT each night).
