‘So much to do, so little time,’ has almost become my constant call of distress these days. And on the previous night, at around 2:30 am, I had this revelation that I have actually been working harder on weekends than on weekdays! But I guess I’m not the only one. Life is getting busier and busier. And whether we like it or not, most of us are being forced to pick up more work than we have time to do. Multi-tasking, therefore, is no longer just a desired ability, but a necessity. Not just for us, but for our machines and gadgets as well. And hence the trend of computers turning into televisions, televisions turning into computers and our mobile phones turning into super multi-tasking personal assistants! So much so that if you ask the kids and teenagers now, they won’t even remember having ever used a mobile that was just a calling device.

Yes, Mobiles and tablets are now capable of providing a whole range of communication services like voice calls, messages, Instant Messaging, mails, video calls and sticker messages, photo messages and recorded voice messages. And of course, they are our entertainment centers, our schedule organizers, our cameras, our photo albums, our video library, our books, our newspapers and a lot more all rolled into one handy super smart gadget.

But the multi-tasking does not mean being able to do a lot, but to be able to do several things at once. And mobile devices are getting better and better at it. For example, in one of my recent posts on this blog, I presented details about LG Optimus G Pro. Among those details was a feature called QSlide. QSlide is a feature that allows the user to multitask by using several different apps together. This feature, available in Optimus G phones, earned much praise and commendation from the users.

Well, according to the recent information that has reached me, this feature has recently been further enhanced to improve its convenience and usability. QSlide now supports more LG devices and comes with added features. While running multiple apps using QSlide, users can now control the transparency of any of the running apps. Moreover, the size and position of any of the running apps can also be easily adjusted.

This enhanced QSLide feature is going to come pre-installed in all LG Optimus series of smartphones from now., enabling more and more users to take advantages of its multi-tasking capabilities.
