Pyaaz Ka Bharta / Onion Bharta
First peel the onions and cut them in cubes.
Marinate the onions with salt,black pepper powder,chilli garlic sauce and soy sauce.
Keep it aside for 1 hour.
Now, on a tava spread little oil and place all the marinated onion pieces and on medium heat fry it.
Alternatively,put all onion pieces on skewers and keep them on direct flame.
Cook the onions till all the onion petals loosen and they are cooked well.
Mostly keep the onions stirred on the tava ill the outer skin is charred or slightly burnt.
Now let it cool.
In a bowl,mix the cooked onion,tomato,salt,sugar,cilantro,grated coconut,green chillies.
Mesh well with your hands,so that the charred flavour of onions gets mixed well with all other ingredients.
Serve with hot phulkas or roti.
