There are many good views across London, but one of the best is at the top of Parliament Hill on the edge of Hampsted Heath. This is just one of the high points on the John Betjeman walk led by professional actor Lance Pierson. Pierson takes you on a journey through the great man’s childhood in Highgate and shows you the places where he was born, brought up and went to school. He also reads some of the poems which Betjeman wrote there. The walk is not for the faint hearted though, West Hill in Highgate is a very steep climb!
