Pumpkin Chai Smoothie.

It’s officially November!! Time to put away the Halloween Decor and decorate for Thanksgiving! I will be listening to Christmas music while doing my Fall Cleaning and Decorating. Hey. Haters can hate. I spent ten years in retail and I still love traditional Holiday music. 

So our first East Coast Halloween here in Connecticut was wonderful. We carved pumpkins… {ate candy}…. got dressed up….. ate some more candy…. and then passed out the remaining candy to all the Trick or Treaters. We had a ton. It was awesome. I dressed up like a Witch, green paint and all… the kid was Minnie, and the husband was a Zombie.

Fun times.

Officially our first Halloween out of the City. Kind of weird, but awesome nonetheless. Suburbia is growing on me, I can say that at least. 

Well from now until January you will be hearing the word Pumpkin an awful lot around here.

I love Pumpkin.

I hoard it this time of year.

Yup. I’m Pumpkin obsessed.

Pumpkin Chai Smoothie Recipe {makes 2 generous servings}

Ingredients:

1 C. Pureed Pumpkin 

1 C. Premade Chai {I use Tazo here}

1 C. Coconut Milk or other Non-Dairy Milk of your choosing…. or straight from the cow if you prefer

1 T. Pumpkin Pie Spice or straight Cinnamon 

1 Frozen Banana {needs to be frozen helps thicken smoothie}

8 Ice Cubes.

Blend. Sip. Gulp. Repeat.
