Donald Trump has still failed to win over a majority of the American public. By a 7 point margin, they still disapprove of the job he is doing (43% to 50%).
But what I found most interesting in this Public Policy Polling survey (done between March 10th and 12th of a random national sample of 808 registered voters, with a 3.4 point margin of error) is reflected in the chart below.
It seems that people trust Obama more than Trump by a 15 point margin -- and they would prefer to have Obama as president over Trump by a 9 point margin. Those are significant differences (exceeding the polls margin of error).
We have gone from a competent president doing a pretty good job to an incompetent one who doesn't seem to know what he's doing -- and the public realizes that.
