For months now, Donald Trump has been denying any wrongdoing in regards to the Mueller investigation. He has called it a with hunt, and said it was politically motivated. But the American public is not buying his denials.
About 62% of the public believes Trump has been dishonest when talking about the investigation, while only 34% say he's honest.
And nearly half (46%) believe Trump himself is guilty of crimes -- not just his already convicted campaign officials. Another 31% isn't sure if he's guilty or not, while 23% believe he is innocent.
Trump's denials and denigration of the investigation may be accepted by his followers, but not by the general public.
