Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had suggested to the name of Asma Jahangir, the prominent social activist and former Supreme Court Bar Council chairman, among other five names to the Pakistan People Party-led government for the caretaker prime minister.
While addressing to a press conference in Lahore on Monday, PTI chairman said that PPP and PML-N have agreed over the name of Asma Jahangir for caretaker prime minister but his party will not accept this decision and will protest against it.
Imran Khan ruled out any possibility of his party’s participation in PML-N’s proposed sit-in outside Parliament House for a strong Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), saying the all bridges between the two parties have broken out.
Khan said instead of partaking in PML-N sit-in, his party will stage a separate protest demonstration.
Rubbishing the carving of a new province in Punjab, Khan regarded it as an ‘election stunt’, questioning where government since five years was.
Khan once again demanded President Asif Ali Zardari to step-down reiterating his stance that free and fair elections could not be held under him.
