Psychedelic Rockers Zodiac Release Live Album 'road Tapes Vol. 1'

German quartet confirms appearance at Wacken Open Air Festival, unveils 'Holding On' performance video
 
Today, the German psychedelic rock n' roll outfit ZODIAC releases "Road Tapes Vol. 1," a digital live album recorded during their fall European headlining tour. "Equal parts guitar-drench, Sabbatherian romp and mournful '70s rock" (Metal Blast), the album was tracked by engineer Florian Steppke and mixed and mastered by long-time collaborator Martin Meinschaffer (Long Distance Calling). A live video for the song "Holding On" can be seen at this location or below:    Featuring tracks taken from the band's three acclaimed studio albums – "Sonic Child" (2014), "A Hiding Place" (2013) and "A Bit of Devil" (2012) – "Road Tapes Vol. 1" aptly showcases ZODIAC's unique blues-driven, classic rock-inspired sound, which Revolver describes as a "nod to '70s riff-lords from Deep Purple to Zeppelin." The complete track listing is as follows:
