Only hours before the Sony’s event, we have a new rumor suggesting that PlayStation 4 is due this November and will be available at two prices. According to Kotaku, anonymous sources say the two PlayStation 4 versions will be priced at $429 and $529 respectively, though “that could change.”
Kotaku’s source also suggests that players will be able to access the console remotely from their tablets or smartphones. They will be able to use a mobile device to chat with friends or buy games, which are automatically downloaded to their consoles. Well, Sony recently changed the accessibility of the PlayStation Store and expanded it to browsers last month.
The source also suggests that every PS4 will come with a PlayStation Eye and will have a new spectator feature which will let gamers watch other gamers play and that the console will support network play on the Vita.
We all know that Sony intends to integrate the PlayStation with social networks and new domain registrations earlier pointed to a service called PlayStation Cloud. We don’t know much about it but I have a hunch that we’ll learn today.
