Project Playroom

We are lucky enough to have a second living room in our house which, up until recently, hasn't been used much. When we moved in it housed a sofa and a piano, but when Isabelle was on the way we decided we needed to make it a more useable space for little people, and at the minute It's serving us pretty well. Isabelle and I always spend a section of our day in there, and in the summer it's lovely and light and warm as it has patio doors which open out into the garden.
When we revamped it last year it was decked out from Ikea - two book cases, a snuggle seat, a chair and a little table. It now also has Isabelle's toy box, which is waiting for it's own make over, and we bought a big button rug from Ikea recently too.
I've been thinking recently that, although it's perfect for us now, it will need revamped in the not too distant future as Isabelle's toy collection grows, and she needs more space for herself. Toy storage is of course a must, but book storage and a little reading area are also high on my list. Pinterest is of course my first port of call when I am thinking of something new, and here are some of my favorite bits so far - storage ideas, ways to display little artwork and cool extras.

No TV for us though!
