What is there to say about this last week other than ' it has been another week'? We have just kept our heads down and been busy doing what we needed to do. In all fairness, it has been a lovely week with only a few images taken. Hopefully there will be more this next week, but for now, here is what we have been up to!
Project 365 2021 Week 3 - It Has Been Another Week
Sunday
We took a lovely stroll down our local walking path, you can just about see the Totty Snake running down the left hand side of the path... can you also see all the people in the distance too? Our walking path is gorgeous and everyone else seems to think so too, all at the same time! Still, it's always lovely to bump into people you know and have a quick chat!
Monday
The start of a new week and both Liv and I had to crack on with work... and homework! Home schooling is going well and life has settled down into a routine now, however I am as distracted as ever. I have given up all hope of completing a task from start to finish in one sitting, it just really will not be happening any time soon!
Tuesday
A quick mid morning trip to Aldi and Home Bargains for a few bits for Liv's Home Tech live cooking class tomorrow. It was much quieter than expected and a breeze to nip in and out of the shops, I just wish it was always like that!
Wednesday
Liv's Home Tech lesson was a great success, despite my kitchen looking like a hurricane had blown through! She successfully made a cake with me hiding in the other room. Is anyone else really protective over their kitchen or it is just me? I featured a post with included the recipe, so if you want to give it a try, follow the easy Lemon Drizzle Cake recipe!
Thursday
With weather warnings in place and the sky looking all mean and moody, it was a very quick weekly shop in Aldi this morning. With Tesco sticking to a one person per family limit, it was odd to see so many old couples shopping together and friends pushing trolleys side by side in Aldi. It's almost like some people just do not get it, even now... almost a year on!
Friday
A fabulous review and giveaway to win a Rock Luggage suitcase went live today. It seemed somewhat bittersweet taking pictures of a suitcase that cannot be used yet, though its time will definitely come! A great end to the week as Liv only had 2 live lessons and had kept on top of her homework through the week, so it was nice to have a chilled afternoon.
Saturday
I finally finished the rainbow coloured blanket that I started before Christmas. I had wanted to finish it sooner but Lockdown Life got in the way. Fortunately, considering how cold it is at the moment, I have finished it at the perfect time! Guess what I am doing now? Starting a new blanket!
We have been watching the American Office recently but I am looking forward to the new series of Snowpiercer which starts this next week! What have you been watching recently?
