Soralina are a family run business that are bringing specially sourced artisan produce to England from the Abruzzo region of Italy. Their products include a range of olive oils, homemade pasta and vegetable pastes.
I’ve tried several of their products now after first finding out about them at last years Good Food Show, where they are regulars.
Most recently I’ve had a few of their vegetable pastes that I’ve not tried before as well as some of their pasta.
I love the colours of the chilli and squid ink pastas, they taste really unique and defintely add a vibrancy and different dimension to cooking! And for someone like me, who would love, but just can’t find the time to make my own pasta very often, these have a real authentic feel.
The vegetable pastes are all gluten, dairy and preservative-free with really high vegetable content. I am loving both the sun dried tomato, and the garlic & chilli stirred through pasta as a sauce or smeared on a bit of toasted ciabatta topped with some fresh tomatoes and herbs. They’re really versatile and they really taste strongly of what they’re supposed to. Theres a huge range of pastes; artichoke and asparagus are another couple of my favourites
If you’re going to the Good Food Show this summer please go and check them out, or you can order online as well
