I bought this product recently with the intention of giving it to my sister as birthday present. My first thought when I saw this was the K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner Pen, only because both claim the “1-day tattoo” thing. I don’t have the K-Palette version so I can’t do a comparison review, but from what I know people are raving about how good it is for winged liner.
Okay, so back to the BYS version! This was supposed to be a gift, right? I gave it to my sister but surprise surprise, she didn’t like it! She was like “meeeh” when she first used this. Of course, the curious me tried it too and true enough, this product is not praise-worthy. Unfortunately, it doesn’t glide on smoothly on the lids. That’s one big factor I consider when testing eyeliners. This requires tugging and some steady, patient hands when applying! I honestly gave up perfecting a cat eye the first time I tried this. Probably the formulation needs a little more tweaking or the brush tip more refining, but I’m sorry BYS, for now I’m saying it’s a MISS for me (and my sis).
