Printing of Revised Nomination Papers Starts

ISLAMABAD: Printing Corporation of Pakistan has received draft of nomination papers for printing from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). ECP has proposed number of changes in nomination papers for candidates for general elections 2013. Revised nomination papers were sent to President Asif Ali Zardari for formal approval but received no response from President’s secretariat.

 On Monday, the Election Commission of Pakistan declared that presidential approval for nomination papers were merely a formality and ECP has decided to go ahead with printing on revised nomination papers.
