He proposed on New Year’s Eve in Sri Lanka in 2016, at the countdown for the new year, he said that he has a very important question to ask before the year ends, and he slipped the ring in my champagne glass, asking me to marry him! When I said yes, and hugged him in tears, he said I’ll have to chug my champagne to get the ring. My favorite moment from the wedding was when I was walking down the aisle… It was very emotional to see Aboudy waiting for me as he was in tears hiding behind his sunglasses…”
