Prague – Day 3

By I Think About Beer @ithinkaboutbeer

Day 3 was definitely a lighter day for activity and my last in the Karlin neighborhood for this trip. I really did enjoy this neighborhood with its mix of restaurants and bars and convenient location. I would defiantly return to it on future trips.

I started the day by walking down to Kafe Karlin for coffee and a party. I ordered an Americano. And yes, the barista and other patron giggled at the American ordering an Americano. They didn’t have any pastries though. So I found another spot that looked promising and enjoyed my coffee on the walk. It really was a fantastic cup.

I decided to take them to a few of my favorite spots in Prague 3. First stop: BeerGeek. It’s always fun to go to place that’s simultaneously familiar to things at home and unique to your location. We worked our way through several Czech craft beers while getting a chuckle out of the list of American beers on offer in bottle.
