Port Noir have shared new single ‘Champagne’ ahead of the release of new album ‘The New Routine’ (out on 10 May via InsideOutMusic – pre-order here) – and it’s one you’ll want to raise a glass to.
The album marks a brave new sound for the Swedish alt-rockers and ‘Champagne’ gives a taster of what to expect from it – twisting and turning from industrial noise to more minimalistic melodies with analog synths It fits somewhere between Brutus and Oceansize and has some deliciously dar lyrics: ‘You won’t shine so bright when you’re six feet deep because you’ll be buried by the best bottomless and you’ve dug it for yourself’.
