After an indulging buffet at Ambrosia, Clark’s Exotica last year we were looking forward to the recent visit and taste the creations of Chef Suresh yet again. This time we tried the Sunday Poolside Brunch at Buvette. The seating is either by the pool or at a small hall adjacent to the pool. The atmosphere at the pool is truly lively and the whole place just lights-up. You can check out the interesting packages and deals here to spend your precious time with your family.
The Sunday Poolside Brunch was also a chance to taste the vegan dishes Chef Suresh has been working on lately. That included a Green Smoothie made with Pineapple, coconut juice along with veggie pulp. The taste was soothing, and the drink was filling. Next, we tried the Jamaican Red Bean Soup, the texture was pulpy and creamy. We did enjoy the soup. The Open Dimsums were crunchy and very light on stomach. The Vegetable Tian is a vegan equivalent to the Italian Lasagna but without the use of any dairy products. The Butternut Squash Risotto was exotic and creamy as well. For the desserts, Clark’s has the Apple Pie with crumble, walnuts and apple.
Coming back to the buffet, the spread is simply mesmerizing. The spread has a variety of welcome drinks like Chandan ka Sarbat, Chaas and much more. There was a large counter for salads which came from different parts of the world. The buffet has Indian Chaats like Pav Bhaji and Pani Puri taking up an entire stall to Kolkata Kathi Rolls. The Mangolian Stall was the best as it served a mix dish of noodles and rice with spicy tangy sauce. Loved it! The Italian Pizza section rolled out some delicious pizza. We even got to taste the Celebrity Mushrooms, one of the most amazing dish created by Chef Suresh.
Well, we were so full by the appetizers and starters that we barely made it to the main course. This included a variety of North and South Indian curries and rice options. To try these there were a large number of breads both fresh as well as readymade. The buffet even had many continental dishes like Italian Roasted Veggies, complete Arabian spread of Hummus and Pita Bread and much more.
The most interesting part of any buffet is ofcourse the desserts section and this one was no different. Some of the most important desserts included the Paneer Jalebi, Horlicks Burfi, Pastries, fresh fruits and so on. The Paneer Jalebi was super soft and just melted in the mouth. The Horlicks Burfi is made out of desi ghee and was exotic in taste.
The spread at this Sunday Brunch is designed for all. The cost of this brunch is Rs.1399 which is a total value for money.
