Education and socialization has long been the foundation of human development. Many of us can recall our first experiences in kindergarten where we discovered interaction between other children, but what about our DOGS? Welcome to DOG School!

Just like humans, dogs require socialization with other humans and especially other dogs.
For many of us who leave for work in the morning, our dogs are left at home.

Now, there are alternatives. One Philadelphia Doggie Daycare Center named Dog School has made interaction and socialization a major part of their K-9 curriculum and has put the fun back into school! With a track record for being around since 1998 as the oldest independently operated doggie daycare in Philly. What's unique about Dog School is their incredibly accommodating staff. According to their website they can “walk your dog home and feed them dinner.” If you need to catch a train before they open, no problem. Just let them know and they'll “meet you here early. Does your dog need medication during the day? No problem, and no charge.“

BEYOND DOGGIE DAYCARE According to their site, Dog School has a No-Crate Policy and they “never crate dogs involuntarily for naps“ allowing dogs to freely sleep whenever and wherever they choose.

Another unique feature of Dog School is that they do not separate dogs into different areas based on their sizes, unlike other doggie daycares. They believe that dogs should be able to play with dogs of other sizes, especially smaller dogs who might be fearful when being in the presence of larger dogs as to overcome their fear.

They even walk your dog at no additional charge! And if that isn't enough, the staff is trained in Pet CPR and first aid!

If that isn't enough, just take a look at their K-9 enrollment and see how much fun and education they're getting with their pooch classmates!
