A team of researchers from Stanford University, along with scientists from the Department of Energy’s (DOE) SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, has created the first self-healing battery electrode. A stretchy polymer that coats the self-healing electrode, binds it together and spontaneously heals tiny cracks that develop during battery operation. Read more »
